Main menu overview

File menu allows working with projects. You can create, open, save, close, and edit projects with it. You can also view and open recent projects and exit the application using the File menu.

As for Options…, there are four of them:

Connection tab allows setting specific timeout settings for the blog crawler and the PR checker. If you get too many errors in the Blog Page Status (St) column, it might be useful to increase the values set by default. You can also set the number of threads for the crawler and the PR checker. If your Internet connection is unstable or slow, you may want to decrease default values.

If you want or have to use proxy, you can add it at the bottom of the tab.

Integration tab allows integrating SEO Blog Submitter with Social Submitter if you have it installed on your computer. This feature gives you an opportunity to submit the blog post you commented on to up to 250 popular social bookmarking sites to quickly index your comment and increase PageRank of the post, which in turn will increase the amount of link juice that flows to your site from it.


Bookmarking commented blog posts is a powerful method of promoting web sites and is advised by a lot of SEO specialists.

User Interface tab allows setting specific options that are related to user interface of the application.


UI tab

Parser tab allows setting the number of pages that you’re going to parse. The more pages you set, the more results you will get. However, if you look for blog posts in a narrow niche and set, for example, 10 pages, you will get a lot of unrelated to your niche blog posts. So, it’s up to you to decide how many pages to parse and the only recommendation we can give you is to experiment with one keyword to find the right number of pages, and then parse blog posts for all the other keywords.
